All items are hand made, one of a kind, not by a machine. As w most hand made items small imperfections are completely normal and just add to the uniqueness of the piece. 
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
NOT Dishwasher safe 
Hand wash in warm, (not hot) water. 
Do not soak in water, wipe dry. 
Do not cut or use abrasives on the resin. Surface of resin can be cleaned w a glass cleaner or mild soap like Dawn and a soft rag. 
Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent resin from yellowing and fading. 
Treat your wood monthly with a food safe oil
